Andy Penry

J. Anthony “Andy” Penry focuses his practice on construction, securities, and commercial litigation. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law after completing his undergraduate studies. Licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and California, Andy’s career began as a law clerk for a federal district judge, followed by practice in national firms before establishing his own practice.

In addition to his law practice, Andy is an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University School of Law and Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. He has held significant roles such as Chair of the North Carolina State Board of Elections, member of the Election Assistance Commission Advisory Board, and member of the Election Law Committee of the Uniform Law Commission. He also served as Deputy Securities Administrator and Head of the Securities Division of the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State.

With over four decades of experience, Andy has a proven track record in handling claims for both public and private sector clients.
