If you have children in school you should know…
Schools operating on a traditional calendar started back this week across North Carolina! Most employers are not aware, but North Carolina provides that employers must give four (4) hours of leave per year to any employee who is a parent, guardian, or person standing in loco parentis of a school-aged child to be involved in that child’s school. Such leave need not be paid leave. So parents, go see that science fair or have lunch with your child at school…North Carolina protects you!
Please contact Anderson Jones, PLLC with any employment-related or other legal issue! We would love the opportunity to serve you!
This handsome guy is the son of Anderson Jones, PLLC’s Attorney Christine Mayhew and he started kindergarten this year! We wish him and the rest of our friends, families and client’s children a wonderful school year!
