During the month of March the legal community came together for the Annual NC Legal Feeding Frenzy to compete to raise the most funds and donated items to support the fight against hunger! Our firm collected food, hygiene items, household items, paper products, and monetary donations. Last week, Attorney General Josh Stein announced the overall amount that was raised along with the winners of the competition. As a community, we raised $151,083.00 and 604,332 lbs of food for counties throughout North Carolina. The original Feeding Frenzy goal for the legal community was $75,000.00, but when the COVID-19 pandemic emerged the goal was increased to $100,000.00. After that announcement, in less than 72 hours over $150,000.00 was raised.
Thanks to our employees, families, friends and community partners Anderson Jones, PLLC surpassed our fundraising goal by over 100%! We also held a contest for anyone who donated to our campaign. Congratulations to Melissa Powell for winning the $100 Amazon gift card!
