Anderson Jones, PLLC, a full-service law firm serving North Carolina and South Carolina, has announced that attorney Christine Mayhew was recognized among the 2015 Legal Elite by Business North Carolina magazine in the employment law category. Launched in 2002, this annual award honors North Carolina’s top lawyers in business-related industries. Registered lawyers are placed on statewide ballots, which are sent to each member of the North Carolina State Bar, and winners are chosen by their peers.
Mayhew practices litigation with a focus on employment and general commercial litigation. She represents clients in all types of employment disputes involving state and federal employment laws. In addition, Christine has successfully handled numerous unemployment proceedings and has drafted and negotiated various types of employment contracts, including employment and severance agreements, confidentiality agreements and non-compete agreements.
“I am honored to be recognized again by the North Carolina legal community and Business North Carolina magazine as a 2015 Legal Elite,” said Mayhew. “My fellow Anderson Jones attorneys and I take great pride in providing ethical and excellent legal counsel, and I strive to uphold the standard we have set for ourselves.”
